Post subject: Plans for Ramadan 2014?
PostPosted: Thu May 22, 2014 5:58 am
AsSalaamu 'Alaikum.

About 37 days to go until we hit the most blessed of all months, Ramadan insha Allah (number of days may vary). It's the only Imaan-boosting month that comes around throughout the year.

Having said all that, what are YOUR plans for Ramadan 2014? Are you traveling? Are you going to recite the Qur'an for a number of times? Or have you decided to attend 100% of the Taraweeh prayers?

Feel free to share your ideas. May Allah prolong our lives until Ramadan ^_^

PS: And to my brothers and sisters in the Middle East, may Allah make fasting easy for you, with 35 - 40 degrees Celsius.

My plan is to become a better person and have more willpower in fasting. Simple.

May Allah accept from you. That's 'simply' awesome.

My Ramadan resolution is to revise all the parts of the Qur'an that I know and seek for an opportunity to lead the Taraweeh prayers once again by Allah's will.

walaikum as salaam,
inshaAllah, work on my patience and will power. I think fasting will help me accomplish that. :)

Wasalam

I intend to increase my tahajjud and have the patience to keep my fast through a 12hr shift! Dreading it. Especially because fast's will be long in the UK, gonna have to do my iftar at work! LOL I can't even book holidays :( Will be my first time working through ramadan.

May Allah make it easy for all of us. There's nothing that is easy but He makes it so.
