    Feroz my brother, after having skimmed your post, I want you to do me a favour. Could you give me a reference from any other book apart from Urdu (Pakistani), Bangla (Bangladeshi) and Hindi (Inidan) books? Or best yet, a reference from an originally Arabic book or the Qur'an or the Ahadeeth?

    May Allah bless you for your help. I couldn't agree with mom when she said she saw the reciter's name on TV as Mishary Al-'Afasy. The two voices sounded so different. I tried to search on YouTube assuming there could be two reciters of the same name. If you compare the audio file and the video I just posted above, you will notice the difference in the pitches. Barak Allahu feek : )

    Jazak Allahu khairan ! Thank you so much brother. Yes you are right, I finally found the recitation out. By the way don't you feel Mishary Rashid's real voice and the recorded voice are just way too different? Why would someone change the pitch of his voice?

    Salam abid, sorry for the slow reply.

    I have merged the two threads together on the topic of 'sandy arts'.

    The other joke topics are in the 'Fun / Humour' category so I think they are ok. I don't think it's necessary to combine every single joke topic into only one thread, as long as they are in the 'Fun / Humour' category they are still organised in the correct place.
